Directions

Driving Directions to the Emergency Department of WVU Hospitals

From Interstate 79:
Take Exit 155, Star City. At the traffic light at the bottom of the hill, go straight through the light (Sheetz is on the right). Cross the Star City Bridge and go straight through the next light. At the top of the hill, turn left onto Patteson Drive (WV 705).

At the third light, turn right into the WVU Health Sciences Center. Overhead signs will direct you to the West Virginia University Hospital, the Emergency Department, the Eye Center, the Physician Office Center, or Chestnut Ridge Center and to the parking lot booth attendant.

From Interstate 68:
Take Exit 7, Pierpont Road. Turn West onto WV 857. At second traffic light, turn left (South) on US 119. You will drive up a steep hill; the Morgantown airport will be on your left. At the second light turn right onto WV 705. At the third light on 705, turn left onto Don Nehlen Drive. Turn right at the first light. Travel through three stop signs and bear right up the hill toward the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center and Clark K. Sleeth Family Medicine Center.

Stop at the parking booth for additional assistance.
