General Information
Visitors
Visitors are important to your child's recovery and WVU Children's Hospital welcomes them. Visiting hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. To ensure that you are receiving the rest you need, we ask that visitors observe these guidelines:
- Limit visitors to two per patient at any one time.
- Please keep your visits short so your child can get enough rest.
- Please observe the hospital's smoke-free policy.
- Brothers, sisters and children of all ages may visit as long as they do not have any contagious disease and have not been exposed to any communicable disease such as chicken pox or measles.
- Visiting children must be supervised at all times.
- Visiting children may only play in the playroom if accompanied by the patient.
Some units within Children's Hospital have other visiting guidelines. Check with the nursing staff if you have questions or would like to make special arrangements.
