Ask your child’s pediatrician to include a vision check during a regular check-up. Your child’s doctor can make a referral to an ophthalmologist if they notice signs of lazy eye (amblyopia), suspect problems with the alignment or structure of the eyes, or if there is a family history of vision problems.
